Privacy Policy

In this Privacy Policy, references to “you” means any person submitting any data to us or to this Website about himself or herself or about any other living individual in respect of any use of the Website or the service available through the Website (the “Stewart Hale Property Service”).

When you use different aspects of the Website, we may ask you to supply us with various information about you or anyone who you represent. This Privacy Policy sets out the way in which we may use such information.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions about the way in which we use your personal information or if any of your personal information changes, please write to us at the above address or email us at stewart@stewarthaleproperty.com

Your privacy is very important to you and us. We shall therefore only use your name and other information which relates to you in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. We will only use your personal information in a way that is fair to you. We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings with you.

We will only keep your information for as long as we are either required to by law, or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.

Data that we collect

We may collect and use various information, including some or all of the following relating to you or people you represent: name, gender, date of birth, address, email address, telephone numbers, password, details of the property that you have or are interested in, relevant dates for moving, your earnings (if you are a buyer), how much money you have to take part (if you are a buyer), what you can afford in rent (if you are a buyer), your current property circumstances, and such other details as we require. We need some of that information in order to allow you to go ahead and register for the Stewart Hale Property Service, to build your profile within the Stewart Hale Property Service to upload material onto the Website, to collect payment from you, and so we can contact you to tell you if there is a property, opportunity or other user that we believe you may be interested in knowing about. We may also provide your contact details with a property that you post so that potential buyers can contact you. We may also supply property data to third party websites if you have asked us to do so or subscribed to that part of the We Buy Fast Service.

In addition, we may use that information to enable you to subsequently use parts of the Website, to detect any fraud or Website abuses, to send you information relevant to the Stewart Hale Property Service or Website, in case there is any servicing required and in case we have any queries.

We may also use your email address that you initially submit to us to send you an email with information about the Stewart Hale Property Service and to enable you to commence using the Stewart Hale Property Service.

We may use your contact details and other query information to respond to you any queries you raise with us.

We may use your contact details to inform you about developments or changes with the We Buy Fast Service (including without limitation updates to the Terms and Conditions).

We may email you with your password if you tell us or the Website that you have forgotten it.

We may also use your data to send you feedback forms to complete, and to contact you over any aspect of the Stewart Hale Property Service or the Website (including, but without limitation, providing customer support, preventing or investigating prohibited activity, enforcing the User Agreement and verifying information). We may further collect (or allocate to you and you may change) a password to use restricted parts of the Website. We use that to enable you or anyone you represent or who represents you to access your restricted parts on the Website.

You must only submit to us or the Website information which is accurate and not misleading and you must keep it up to date and inform us of changes. By submitting data in respect of you and anyone else, you must ensure that you have full authority and consent to supply us with that data on their behalf and you warrant to us that you have that authority.

Other uses of your personal information

We may also send you other information about us, promotions, further events, our newsletters, anything relating to our business partners, or anything in which you show an interest. If you would prefer not to receive any of this additional information as detailed in this paragraph (or any part of it) please send us an appropriate email to stewart@stewarthaleproperty.com, specifying which information you do not wish to receive. Within 7 working days of receipt of your instruction we will cease to send you information as requested. If your instruction is unclear we will cease to send you all information referred to in this paragraph.

Third Parties and Links

We may pass some of the data about you and anyone you represent to other users if there is a potential match of circumstances and we may use the data as described in our Terms and Conditions and on the Website, but we shall not be responsible for any use or misuse of that data by anyone other than us. We may pass your details to our agents and subcontractors to help us with any of our uses of your data set out in our Privacy Policy. For example, we may use third parties to assist us with providing the administration for running the Website, to assist with the verification facility, to enable us to collect payments from you, to analyse data and to provide us with marketing or customer service assistance.

We may exchange information with third parties for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

We may transfer our databases containing your personal information if we sell our business or part of it. We may pass your data to other companies in our group for them to use as set out in this Privacy Policy.
